This original 1894 Heritage Log House is located on beautiful Galiano Island in the heart of the Canadian Southern Gulf Islands. The Captain's Quarters is a two-storey very private 800 sq ft hand hewn log cabin, lovingly restored with teak & fir wood floors throughout and superbly hand-crafted yellow cedar windows and decor. It is fully-equipped and faces Southwest on 10 acres of an Organic Garlic Farm situated mid-Island only minutes from the beaches of both coastlines. Rates: $85-$125 CDN/night.

Located on Galiano Island, Hawthorne Retreat is a large character home on 10 private acres. It is set on a mix of pastoral farmland and old growth forest. It is ideally suited to accommodate groups of friends, families or retreat groups. The cabin sleeps 10 very comfortably, but would also be a luxurious space for couples or singles.
